Our love story
In June 2021, in the city of Pretoria, two lives quietly intersected in a way neither could have anticipated. Nelisiwe had arrived in the capital to further her studies, full of ambition and dreams for the future. Machallan, a senior associate at a boutique law firm, was already firmly immersed in his professional journey. From that chance meeting, a beautiful story began to unfold.
What started as a simple connection soon blossomed into a deep and enduring love, built on friendship, laughter, and shared purpose. Together, Machallan and Nelisiwe embarked on countless adventures, discovering not only South Africa, but each other along the way.
Their love has travelled across all nine provinces — from thrilling jet ski rides in the North West, to vibrant music festivals in Durban; from creative sip-and-paint dates in Gauteng, to serene horseback riding in the Cape; and unforgettable elephant rides in Mpumalanga. With every journey, their bond grew stronger, turning moments into memories and companionship into true partnership.
Through these experiences, they became more than lovers — they became best friends.
On 21 December 2024, in a breathtaking glass venue overlooking a lush garden adorned with an array of beautiful flowers, Machallan asked Nelisiwe to spend forever with him. With joy and love in her heart, she said yes.
Now, with grateful hearts and immense excitement, Machallan and Nelisiwe invite you to join them as they celebrate the beginning of their forever.

We’re excited to celebrate our special day with all of our loved ones! To ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to share this joyous occasion with you!
When do we need to RSVP by?
Please submit your RSVP before 31st August 2026.
Are the ceremony & the reception at the same venue?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held at Avianto – Wedding, Conference & Event Venue, 69 R114, Muldersdrift, 1747
Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors so worry not.
What time should we arrive at the wedding?
Please arrive at the venue by 13:30.
Is there any available parking?
There is plenty of parking space at the venue. Here is the google maps link to the parking ;
Is there anywhere local we can stay?
Our Venue (Avianto) has 30 luxury rooms and 5 suites on-suite, starting from R3080, per room. Bookings must be made directly with Avianto’s booking department. To qualify for the discount furnish them with the names Nelisiwe & Machallans weddings. Apart from this, there are plenty of B&Bs and Hotels near the venue, of which the links are attached that you can choose from.
